TIMELESS QUALITY

 

My name is Carlie Coates and I am a student at UNC-Charlotte.  Currently, I am taking a class that explores the true, underlying importance behind what it means to partake in citizenship.  Apart from learning, we are actively conducting oral histories in the Optimist Park Community within Charlotte.  The community stores great historic information that needs to be shared.  We are striving to gather and perserve as much history as possbile, in hopes of representing the rich, timeless quality of the community.  The end project date is not time-stamped, thus a genuine watch is needed during the preservation process.  This website houses my journey through the semester.  Enjoy!
